  • We have pre-reserved rooms with a special set rate for the travel window of January 14-18, 2027. You may extend your stay, pending room availability. This resort requires a 3 night minimum for all guests. 

    Deadlines
    After you have discussed your travel dates with family and friends, you are ready to make a deposit! Room deposit of $150 per person is due by July 22, 2026, as is the cost of your chosen insurance plan, should you elect to include insurance. Final room payments are due October 21, 2026.

    Airfare
    As long as your room is booked with the group, you may book your air however you'd like. Please forward your air confirmation to our travel agent by November 18, 2026 to receive your included transportation. See Airfare question in this FAQ for more details.  

    Travel Agent
    We are working with Ashley Morris at Alpaca Your Bags Travel. Please read the important information below and contact Ashley to complete your booking.

  • All Inclusive resorts are priced per person, based on how many individuals are booked in a room.
    The rates listed are PER PERSON and include:

    • Hotel accommodations

    • All-inclusive meal plan, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

    • Round trip, shared transportation between Cancun airport (CUN) and the resort

    • Hotel, tax and gratuities

    • All wedding events and activities

    Optional Travel insurance is available to protect your investment. See insurance FAQ below for more details.

    At Hyatt Ziva Cancun,  amenities include:

    • 17 restaurants, lounges and bars

    • 24-hour in-suite dining

    • Entertainment featuring live music and performances

    • Unlimited cocktails, spirits, beer, wine, and soft drinks at lounges and bars

    • Butlers to enhance your experience at the pool and beach, help with unpacking and planning activities

  • All international travelers are required to have a passport book, including infants and children. Passport cards, enhanced driver's licenses or SENTRI cards are not valid for air travel. U.S. citizens can learn more about the application process by visiting the U.S. Department of State website.

    If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date. The US State Department recommends that international travelers have 6 months of validity remaining on their passport past their return date. 

    Passport processing time is frequently delayed. Do not wait until the last minute.

  • Because group reservations at all-inclusive resorts are pre-paid and non-refundable, our travel agent recommends travel insurance. Life is unpredictable. Plans can change.

    Travel insurance prices will be quoted for each individual guest. The cost of insurance is based on your age, your state of residency and the total cost of your trip.


    Without insurance, there are no refunds should your plans change. You will also not have any medical coverage for mishaps or catastrophic events. Your US health insurance will likely not work outside of the United States; please read the FAQ below for more detail.

  • Yes. Initial deposits are due on July 22, 2026.

    There are no set requirements for payments, as long as final payments are made by the deadline. Final payments are due on October 21, 2026.

  • We ask that you book your room as part of our wedding group, but you are free to book your flights on your own.

    We recommend booking your hotel room as early as possible and adding air when you're ready.

    Please forward our travel agent your air confirmation email no later than November 18, 2026. This is how we schedule your transportation pick-up at your destination. Guests who do not submit their air information by the deadline will forfeit their included transfers. 

    The closest airport is Cancun International Airport (CUN). Transportation is only included from this airport. The included transportation is a shared transfer, which is a shuttle that may make stops at other properties. You are able to upgrade to a private vehicle at your own cost. See booking form for details. 

    If you would like assistance with air, our travel agent is happy to help. There is a $75 ticketing fee for this service.

  • Yes! Please coordinate with your roommate and designate one person to fill out the reservation form.

    Reservation forms should be one per room, not one per person. When our travel agent receives your form, she will email both of you and explain next steps.

    If you and your roommate live at different addresses, please make sure to include the second passenger's contact info in the notes field.

  • Absolutely! ​If you would like to stay for dates before or after the date window, that is no problem! Please be aware that dates outside the room block window are subject to hotel availability. 

    Please include your requested dates in your reservation form and our travel agent will confirm availability! Rates outside the room block dates may differ from our group rates.

  • We have paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for our group.

    • We have signed a contract with the resort and have committed to a minimum number of rooms

    • Only rooms booked with Alpaca Your Bags Travel count toward this contract

    • The resort has a 3 night minimum stay requirement, but you are welcome to come earlier or stay later!

    • We have reserved several different room types for you to choose from.

  • We kindly ask that you book your hotel within our designated group contract through our travel agent, Alpaca Your Bags Travel.

    There are several reasons why we ask you to do this:

    • We have negotiated a contract for the ENTIRE group. This includes a special set rate and included transportation.

    • Groups are given priority status at the resort, so you might miss out on some VIP treatment.

    • Groups are given priority room assignments, so if you book directly, you're likely getting a room that couldn't be sold to a group. It will be leftover inventory, possibly in a undesirable location away from everyone else.

    • Groups are given priority if the resort is oversold. In this situation, our group is protected but an individual reservation is not. You could be walked to another location.

    Guests who do not book within the group contract unfortunately:

    • Will not get the group rates

    • Will have to pay up front vs. over time.

    • Will not receive any pre-departure, trip support or post-trip support from our travel agent.

    • Will not be eligible to receive any support from our travel agent in the event of an emergency.

    • If you stay off-site, will be required to pay a day pass on property to attend wedding events, and risk the situation that day passes are not available the day of the wedding.
